We want to increase housing availability for everyone, so people do not have to make choices between paying rent and being part of our community.
Residents spend more and more of their earnings on housing, resulting in less for food, child care, and healthcare. We can all benefit from homes in every shape, size, and price point so everyone can create a home.
Los Angeles needs to build more housing. We’re not building enough homes for everyone who needs them.
YIMBY stands for “Yes In My BackYard.” We cannot accept a status quo that says No to housing. That’s a recipe for a city that’s unaffordable and unlivable for all but the wealthy.
Let’s say Yes in My Backyard. Let’s build, Los Angeles.
